Partnerships and Sponsorships

At TLHS, we seek partnerships with various community based organizations. Our staff, students, teachers, and families are dedicated to creating partnerships to improve our local community. For information about becoming a community partner please contact Diane Allerdyce by email at diane.allerdyce@toussaintlouverture.org

New York Life Community Grant Partnership

Toussaint L'Ouverture High School for Arts & Social Justice has partnered with New York Life to provide students who have lost a loved one with resources designed to help them cope. TLHS is grateful to New York Life for its donation of $500 as well as materials for students who may be grieving for someone who has died. It is partnerships like TLHS/NYL that strengthen our communities.

Delray Beach Bike Club

TLHS would like to send a BIG thank you to Jim Chard, from Human Powered Delray, the Delray Beach Bike ClubRichwagen of Delray Beach, and the City of Delray Beach Police Department with a special thanks to Jeffrey S. Goldman, Chief of Police for their efforts in contributing to the donation of Bicycles to TLHS on June 2, 2015. We are lucky enough to have partnered with Albert Richwagen of Richwagen Bike & Sport, who has teamed up with HumanPowered Delray and the Delray Beach Police Department.

Gladiolus Education Garden

TLHS has partnered with the Gladiolus Education Garden, to facilitate the start-up of the new Delray Beach, community garden, where our students are helping from the ground up (literally) to build & plant, and eventually educate community members on the benefits of gardening.

Community Clean Up

On Saturday, October 25, 2014, over 25 TLHS Students, 7 Staff Members, and 1 Volunteer from the Delray Beach Wells Fargo came out and performed a community clean up of the immediate areas surrounding TLHS. The route covered from SW 12th Avenue and Atlantic Avenue southward to 3rd Avenue going two blocks east and west in both directions.

The clean up team was able to pick up almost 1,000 lbs of garbage and debris.
